Ms. Llovera serves as the Assistant Director for the Center. She is involved in assisting with the administrative issues of the Center and is also currently co-directing the ESOL/Human Trafficking Project. She co-trains Adult Educators state-wide on human trafficking awareness and how to incorporate ways to assist victims of human trafficking in ESOL/ABE classes. She is also developing training curriculum on the Protections for Child Victims of Human Trafficking Project for the Department of Children and Families.
She is a native of El Salvador and was once an ESOL student in the Leon County School system. She received a Bachelor's degree from Florida State University and then a Master's degree in Multilingual/Multicultural Education at the same institution. In addition to working for the FSU Center for the Advancement of Human Rights, Ms. Llovera is also a teacher for Adult and Community Education in Tallahassee.
